Do you want a Gasfield in your Backyard

A group of Kingston & Robe residents & rate payers have re formed Limestone Coast Strike Out Alliance Incorporated.

The primary objective of the group at this stage is to raise awareness amongst the local community of the potential risks mining activities may pose to the Limestone Coast region.

Almost all of the South East of South Australia is covered by PELs. Our concern is this is prime agricultural land & if some mining activities were to proceed it may potentially have detrimental effects on our underground water, land, businesses, tourism & health (people, livestock, pets, wildlife).

Two short Lock the Gate DVDs will be shown by the Limestone Coast Strike Out Alliance. These are stories told by Australian farmers & rural communities from the Eastern States who already have experience with co existing with mining.

Anne Daw, a member of the Round Table For Unconventional Gas Projects in SA will be in attendance & give a brief introduction & will take questions after the films.

Entry is a gold coin donation please to help cover expenses.
