A letter to the people of Mandalong, the Lake and Newcastle. Come and help save our lake and our valley

The saga of the Centennial mine expansion continues.

There is a further public Planning Assessment Commission meeting to be held on Tuesday 25 August at 4pm at the Morisset Country Club. BE THERE!!!

This is the second and final say for the public, this is our last chance to been seen and heard. If you value Lake Macquarie and Mandalong Valley come along.

Centennial Coal continues to pump heavy metals into our lake and plans to do NOTHING about it, it also plans to do NOTHING for the residents and users of the Mandalong Valley about the safety on Mandalong Road while they build a major expansion site in the heart of the Valley.

This is a public meeting, please come and support us. We need YOUR support.

Tell the PAC that we will not tolerate the pollution of OUR LAKE, THAT IS OUR LEGACY TO OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN

NOR will we allow our peaceful Mandalong Valley to be made unsafe, IT WILL EFFECTIVELY BE TRASHED FOR 2 YEARS WHILE THEY BUILD THEIR SITE.

Lake Macquarie City Council and the NSW Department of Planning and Environment in Sydney are sitting on their hands, doing NOTHING about the heavy metal contamination of our lake and NOTHING about the safety threat and the disruption to this peaceful, valley.

IT IS UP TO US, THE PEOPLE OF WYEE, COORANBONG, MORISSET, DORA CREEK, TORONTO, WARNERS BAY, SPEERS POINT, BELMONT, SWANSEA, NEWCASTLE AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO VALUES AND ENJOYS THE LAKE TO MAKE OUR LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENT LISTEN AND ACT. COME ALONG
