Today the Queensland government released a draft environmental authority for the Acland Mine Stage 3 expansion. Not good news! The number of coal carriages is set to double and all of these coal trains will go through our suburbs!
We have been meeting on the second Tuesday of the month, and while our numbers have diminished, the coal trains haven’t! They are still thundering through our community.
