Childers Community Against Coal and Gas would like to invite you to
the screening of "Bimblebox", with guest speaker Paola Cassoni.
The Bimblebox Nature Refuge lies in the path of what will be one of the earth's largest coal mines. One woman, Paola Cassoni, decides to resist the "China First" project that will destroy her Nature Refuge and supply energy to Asia for the next thirty years.
There is a battle going on in regional Australia. A battle for land, health and the environment. At this critical time, when so much coal and coal seam gas expansion is planned in Australia, the documentary 'Bimblebox' aims to expose the destructiveness of the rampant expansion of coal and coal seam gas mining in Eastern Australia to our climate, communities and environment.
