Brisbane Volunteer Planning and Picnic

Interested in helping to shape the direction of Lock the Gate's campaigns and community actions around Brisbane? Come along and help us plan for the next few months. This is a great opportunity to get creative and get involved in the coal and gas issues that you care about most.
Right now we are at a crossroads with a number of our campaigns. The Rehab bill is just about to be voted on in parliament, the Acland coal mine is heading back court and Fraser Coast shale gas permits are soon to expire. Come along to find out what all this means and help us take stock and get organised for the months ahead.
Everyone is welcome whether you have been involved in a while or are new to Lock the Gate.
We will head down to New Farm park from 1pm for a picnic, please bring along a plate to share and something to sit on. Friends and family are welcome to join.
Please arrive at 9:15 for a 9:30 start.
