Be an extra in a short explainer video!

We’re making a campaign video and we’d love you to be in it!

The Albanese Labor government is currently preparing to implement its first major climate policy since being elected on a mandate to take real action on climate change - reforms to the Safeguard Mechanism.

It’s a complex policy but there’s a simple problem - the loopholes in it now will allow vast new coal and gas projects to be approved without any serious impediments.

So, we’re making a fun explainer video, to spread the word widely about how important it is to get this right, and what the consequences are if we don’t.

The video will be used on social media to build public understanding and awareness of this complex policy area, and to build pressure on the Government to improve the reforms.

You’ll be an extra in the video, moving around the hall to highlight the policy issues, with no speaking required.  We’re after 10 to 12 extras.

It’ll be a bit of fun, catching up with other folks in the network and we’ll be putting on some afternoon tea.
