Thank you so much for making the decision to protect the Channel Country from fracking. It is such an important and precious part of our country.
We humans seem to do so much ‘using’ of nature without consideration for how our actions impact the incredible life support system that supports our lives on this planet.
Meher Baba has said many decades ago, “No man and no nation can ignore the laws of Nature with impunity.” I suspect we – or our children and grandchildren – will see the full consequences of our actions within their lifetimes, but every step taken to be more thoughtful and respectful of how nature supports us, as part of nature, is helpful. As Meher Baba also said, we must do our best and leave the rest to God.
May you seek to serve the people as best you are able in the very demanding and thankless job you have undertaken – and may you be supported by your own faith and the love of friends and family throughout your term of office.
May your Christmas be joyful and give you strength to fulfill your new role in the year to come.
