The Greens have a Bill in the Legislative Council to prohibit coal seam gas in New South Wales. The ALP have moved amendments to that Bill to give it a chance of passing with broad political support. This is an unprecedented opportunity. If the amended Bill gets through the upper house with broad political support it will force the Government to face up to broad community opposition to unconventional gas. It will be sent to the lower house for debate and consideration. Join us in Sydney and online for the Upper House vote on the Bill.
