Myocum and Tyagarah residents its your chance to say 'Yes' or 'No' to Gasfields in your neighborhood. This means NO to invasive gas mining in your region!

Your voice is important as it will send a loud message to state and federal government, as well as investors of mining interest.

The public meeting will provide an opportunity to get informed on the issues, cast your vote and volunteer to be a surveyor of a local area. It also offers a chance to get to meet and greet others in your community.

Volunteer surveyors will contact all local residents, ask the question and record the response as to whether you want your roads/ lands Gasfield free? All responses are needed as this is a survey and not a petition.

The collated information will then be presented to the mayor and the Myocum/ Tyagarah region can be declared 'Gasfield free'.

This is a grassroots response that has already occurred in other localities. WE are on our way to closing the gate and declaring the entire Byron shire LOCKED to any further gas exploration.
