Alex Greenwich, MP for Sydney and Julie Lyford, former Mayor of Gloucester will introduce the film, which exposes the vast scale of the threat to our country from unconventional gas mining. More than half of Australia and 80% of NSW is covered in gas exploration licences and applications. Even Sydney’s drinking water catchment is under threat.

But despite this devastating reality, Australians are rising up to protect the country they love, and communities are taking on the mining giants and winning. This is a time when ordinary people become heroes.
