RESOURCES:

  1. Where can people find a list of candidates for their electorate (vying for a Legislative Assembly seat (lower house) in the next NSW Parliament)?

  2. Northmore Gordon study into how NSW can kick the gas habit
A July 2021 study by Northmore Gordon and companion report from the Climate Council illustrates a potential pathway for NSW to reduce its gas consumption by 25% within 5 years, 70% in 10-15 years, and entirely eliminate gas use by 2050. These reports provide a decarbonisation roadmap for New South Wales which, if adopted, would mean there would be no need for gas from Santos’ Narrabri project.

  3. UTS Institute for Sustainable Futures study of renewables vs CSG in the NW
RENEWABLE NARRABRI SHIRE: Solar and Wind versus Gas  In North-West New South Wales: A 2018 report examining the enormous benefits in pursuing renewable energy in the Narrabri / NW region instead of coal seam gas.
