On Thursday September 14, at 11:30am, we will march en masse from Customs House to NSW Parliament in solidarity with Gomeroi people bravely defending culture and farmers defending our food bowl. Groups including the Country Women’s Association, Unions NSW and NSW Farmers have joined up to support communities in the north-west and make this as big as it can be.
To show how many of us support these communities on the frontlines, we need your help to make this rally as big as possible.
We will be sending emails, sharing social media posts, and distributing flyers and posters, however the best way to ensure we get a big turn out is to call our supporters and invite them directly.
Don't worry if you haven't made these kind of phone calls before, as we will run a training, give you a script, and we have a very user friendly system to use for the calls. As we are calling people who are already supporters, these calls will be easy and fun!
We have decided to run this event online, so you can make calls from your home using your own computer. The Zoom meeting allows us to chat first, and gives you a chance to troubleshoot if you have any issues with the system.
