Pipe Dreams - Screening and Q&A - QUT

As crunch time approaches for our own Wide Bay Burnett communities threatened by gasfield exploration, we have a unique opportunity hear about the impacts of shale gas fracking across Australia and the USA from David Smith, a South Australian farmer and producer of the new film Pipe Dreams Fractured Lives.

In the film you will hear the stories of everyday people, from the US and Australia, speaking out to give you an insight into the CSG and shale fracking industry, as well as the science from world experts.
After the film screening there will be a Q&A with filmmaker David Smith; Jenny Firn QUT (Ecologist, Environmental systems); Dr Geralyn McCarron GP; Ms Susanne Munkara, QUT Prof Melissa Haswell (Environmental health, Facilitator),  UQ Prof Peter Dart (Agriculture and food sciences).
Venue: QUT Kelvin Grove Campus Location: KG-Z2-226, you can find it on the map here near Kelvin Grove rd.  https://cms.qut.edu.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0006/84759/kg-colour-map.pdf
