With the next QLD election just around the corner it is time for us to get active in Brisbane to help ensure the future of our water, farmland, health and industries. This state election our government needs to listen to the voices of Queensland and stop letting the fossil fuel industry undermine our democracy.  

Come along and learn some of the key skills you will need to get active in your community. This three hour training will suit both new and more experiences Lock the Gate volunteers covering information about our election campaign, general campaign strategy, communicating campaigns as well as common election tactics including door knocking.

This will be the first of a number of trainings leading up to the state election. If you are interested in volunteering for the election but you can’t make this training please let us know here. Please bring paper, pen and lunch.
