Support Farmers Fighting for the Right to Say No to Gas
Last week Arrow Energy was fined $1 million for breaching land access laws on some of the most productive farmland in Queensland on the Darling Downs.
This fine is just ‘chump change’ for Arrow Energy and their parent company Shell/PetroChina who reported a profit of $19 BILLION last year.
And the Queensland Government is trying to use this fine as a way to wipe their hands of the issue, going back to business as usual as long as companies tell farmers before they drill.
Will you send a message of support to the affected landholders letting them know you and hundreds of other Queenslanders support their call to protect prime farmland?
This is a chance to push for real reforms - if we stand together. Leave your message below and we will share them with the incredibly tough farmers who have been fighting this injustice for years.
