Sydney Knitting Nannas - 200 Weeks of protesting against Santos
Please join us and celebrate the Sydney Knitting Nannas milestone of 200 weeks at Martin Place vigils against the Santos coal seam gas project near Narrabri in North West NSW. We'll celebrate the unity and resolve of all the people from the North West who have kept up the campaign for many years. We will celebrate that the project hasn't been approved in spite of Santos bluff and bluster about being in production by now.
We will resolve to keep drawing attention to the many risks - to water including the Great Artesian Basin, to the precious Pilliga forest, First Nations culture, farming land and to human health.
We will never give up.
