Please write a very short message, in your own words, to the Independent Planning Commission and the NSW Government for rejecting the risky Bylong coal mine. Congratulate them for listening to the experts and protecting this incredible area for its rich soils, precious groundwater and unique heritage values. This means the historic Tarwyn Park property, the home of Natural Sequence Farming, will not be mined.
Thanks for saving Bylong!

Geoffrey Bricknell commented 2019-09-19 15:19:11 +1000At last… a sane result.
The real question is ‘why is this an isolated event?’
Our political system currently is bought and owned by destructive major corporations hell bent on raping our natural environment for profit.
Lots of zeros in an account… criminally insane behaviour.
Splendid result !!! -
Georgie Huxtable commented 2019-09-19 15:19:08 +1000Thank you for rejecting the Bylong valley mine. At last we are seeing, with this decision and rejection of the Rocky Hill Mine, positive action against climate change. Thank you for saving this beautiful valley and the rich farming land so precious in Australia. This has given me more hope than I hope felt for a long time. Thank you for acting for the future and on behalf of life on earth. -

Ross Roache commented 2019-09-19 15:05:29 +1000Thank you—a million times. Your important decision gives cause for hope, and impetus for change away from the callous, brutish and rapacious ‘profit at any cost’ dictum which is the foundation of “free market economics” (sic).
And, more than anything else, your exhilarating decision has saved one more little piece of our inconceivably beautiful and extraordinary planet. For all who come after us. They’ll remember you with gratitude and pride. -
