Thanks for saving Bylong!

Please write a very short message, in your own words, to the Independent Planning Commission and the NSW Government for rejecting the risky Bylong coal mine.  Congratulate them for listening to the experts and protecting this incredible area for its rich soils, precious groundwater and unique heritage values. This means the historic Tarwyn Park property, the home of Natural Sequence Farming, will not be mined.

brilliant news! finally a win for the environment! Our government appears to be indifferent to the need for a healthy environment and only thinks of growth at any cost !

Thanks for saving the Bylong Valley. We all realise that coal is an important part of our economy, but we have also to consider agricultural value and ground water. Thanks again for a responsible decision.

This means so much to so many in our local community. It shows a commitment from our government that the future of our kids, our food bowls, our communities and our land is more important than short term gain. Thank you

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now could you please give common sense lessons to the inept, morally bankrupt federal government. They need all the help they can get. No way are they listening to the people they are supposedly there to represent. BLESS YOU !!

Thank you Thank you Thank you

for refusing permission for the mine, based on its unacceptable impacts on groundwater, heritage and some of Australia’s best agricultural soils.

    Best decision.

Thanks to the IPC and the NSW government for listening to the people and taking the right action by rejecting a coal mine which is totally old world.

This is Fantastic news, were at last common sense prevailed over greed and power!!

Hopefully the NSW government will take a similar common sense approach to restore our river systems.

Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to the Independent Planning Commission for their courage and foresight in rejecting the Bylong Mine. With the looming threat of climate change, the last thing we need is more fossil fuels polluting our air. Future generations will thank you.

This is a very important decision and I am extremely pleased that this coal mine has been refused. With drought and water shortages on the Eastern side of this vast country it is so important to preserve and care about rich viabke farm lands such as the Bylong Valley. So thank you for making the decision to refuse the coal mine
