Thanks for saving Bylong!

Please write a very short message, in your own words, to the Independent Planning Commission and the NSW Government for rejecting the risky Bylong coal mine.  Congratulate them for listening to the experts and protecting this incredible area for its rich soils, precious groundwater and unique heritage values. This means the historic Tarwyn Park property, the home of Natural Sequence Farming, will not be mined.

It is with a great sense of relief that I send this message of thanks to the commission for making the right decision on Bylong Valley coal mine. All over this country we see criminal instruments at work undermining justice and the sustainable future of the generations to come. This decision is a sign that the system is not yet completely corrupted, and that some hope remains for this country beyond a slash and burn approach and an addiction to short term unsustainable solutions. Thank you.

Thank you very much for making this decision. If only the Queensland Government had made a similar decision regarding the Adani Mine.

Thank you for not buckling into powerful vested interests. It is simply wonderful to know that some government instrumentalities are prepared to do the correct thing for the long term benefit of all Australians. You are starting to restore my belief in humanity.

Thank you so much for making this decision. It is absolutely the right decision but took a lot of courage in this current political climate. It gives us hope when we see lawmakers stand up for all of us. Thank you again.
