Please write a very short message, in your own words, to the Independent Planning Commission and the NSW Government for rejecting the risky Bylong coal mine. Congratulate them for listening to the experts and protecting this incredible area for its rich soils, precious groundwater and unique heritage values. This means the historic Tarwyn Park property, the home of Natural Sequence Farming, will not be mined.
Thanks for saving Bylong!

So I’m sure the locals will be grateful, and the nation as a whole will benefit. -

Glenn Barry commented 2019-09-19 12:20:24 +1000Dear Commissioners,
Thank you so much for making the wise and demonstrative decision to protect Bylong from a damaging coal mine.
This is an entirely logical yet still epic stand for the sake of the physical environment, the health of the populace and visual amenity of this unique area.
Even more importantly though, you have shown pivotal leadership in the bigger battle to relegate climate-wrecking coal mines and now largely unnecessary fossil fuel use closer to becoming superseded technologies of the past.
All power to your organisation, its integrity and courage! -
Glen Daly commented 2019-09-19 12:20:03 +1000A bit of sense in the coal mine scramble is long overdue. May the sense live long. -
Annette McKinley commented 2019-09-19 12:16:36 +1000Thank You. Common sense and good planning prevail. The risks to our soils, groundwater and heritage values, not to mention increased carbon clearly outweigh any benefits to the coal industry. -
Philip Bryden-Brown commented 2019-09-19 12:13:40 +1000Thank you for choosing long term sustainable economic prosperity of the Bylong Valley not short term gain with masses of long term losses – financial, environmental, esoteric. At last common sense! I’m thrilled for myself and the generations following me.

Suzanne Louden commented 2019-09-19 12:13:20 +1000To NSW Parliment
Thank you for your wise decision to not give over the beautiful and environmentally important Bylong Valley to coal mining. Your decision gives me hope, that our government is listening to we, the people of this state and that the health of our environment and all that exists in it, may be considered as more important than short term, environmentally damaging mining.
Best Regards
