Thanks for saving Bylong!

Please write a very short message, in your own words, to the Independent Planning Commission and the NSW Government for rejecting the risky Bylong coal mine.  Congratulate them for listening to the experts and protecting this incredible area for its rich soils, precious groundwater and unique heritage values. This means the historic Tarwyn Park property, the home of Natural Sequence Farming, will not be mined.

Thank you so very, very much to all involved in protecting the Bylong Valley by stopping the coal mine.

You give us hope for a clean and healthy environment to share in the future, with our animal and plant life too.

Your decision released today regarding mining in the Bylong Valley displays both great foresight and a wisdom that few institutions have managed to cultivate within themselves. Thank you.

Thanks. We don’t need any more coal mines, especially in pristine areas. And concern for groundwater is so important

I must congratulate the independent planning commission and the NSW Government for listening to the people and the experts and stopping this mine which would have affected this pristine valley. Lets keep this up and not allow any developments/mines to go ahead in NSW at all.

It is so encouraging to have a decision that considers the future over short term gain; and to recognise the issue of climate change

A win for common sense & the future of our children, grandchildren and all Australians who care about our role as custodians of our lands. My personal thanks to the Commission for listening to the experts and the “little people” who live on, and farm, our Australian soils. One less contributor to climate change and its horrifying consequences!
