A: You are an inspiration Wendy. Thank you on behalf of we ordinary citizens for having the courage of your convictions which meant that the mine did not go ahead. Now to stop Adani!
A: Dear Wendy,
Thank you for taking a stand so many years ago. Farming is rewarding and hard work, yet you gave your precious time for the animals and the land. If only politicians had your love for Australia.
Sincerely, Leanne
A: Thank you Wendy for your tenacity and persistence. You are an inspiration…
A: Congratulations Wendy! I loved your clear and concise speech, thank you for your tireless work. You have shown that if we work together we can save our precious natural resources. You have inspired me to do what I can to support our local community groups.
A: Dear Wonderful Wendy,
WOOOOOWW you are such an inspiration – I am super excited by the extrodinary achievements you have managed to create! Well done!! You have motivated me to take action on some environmental issues I am very passionate about too – namely saving The Great Barrier Reef! Together through positive people action we can change the world into a better place. There is so much beauty in nature, I honestly believe we live in a heaven on Earth… With much love xxx Viveca, Greg and toddler Hamish
A: Dear Wendy, Congratulations on your award. Your courage and commitment to this cause has no doubt shown others what is possible….
A: Some of us are concerned, some of us think about doing something, some of us sign petitians, others raise money, some attend rallies, and many of us do many other things to protect the environment, but very few of us go to the lengths you have done, and that makes you a very special person so congratulations on your recognition Wendy, so many of us salute you.
A: Dear Wendy , I just listened to your speech and want to congratulate you on your clarity of vision and courage to do what is right for the environment. It is inspiring to hear your words stating the simple and vital fact that we need to change and put clean water and environment ahead of short term
Profit. Thank you for speaking out and being strong. With kind regards Jenny Turpin
A: Thank you for your courageous actions for planet earth, beautiful soul! May the force be ever with you.
Namaste
A: Thank you Wendy for your courage and strength to stand by your values and for protecting our environment. You are an inspiration. If only everyone could understand water is life! We need bees for our food! Mining is not sustainable! Thanks for what you have done. And we are never too old to stand up.
A: Congratulations Wendy. You must have been put through such a nightmare for so long over this. Instead of being able to peacefully enjoy the sanctuary of your own home on your own land, you’ve had to fight over many years to defend it; & to defend the local environment from destruction, which is so unfair. All the best for you in future.
A: Dear Wendy,
You are a great inspiration!
A: Thank you for not going gently into that good night Wendy
A: Wendy thank you for your effort hope they leave you in peace. Best wishes for the future Jean
A: Wendy, thank you for being the inspiration that we all need in this fight against corporate greed and political impotency. May many more step up to the plate and follow in your footsteps.
A: My congratulations to mrs. Bowman, you deserve this prize and the Earth deserves more people like you .
We are fighting for a better world next to you!

A: Congratulations Wendy on the Goldman Environmental Prize win. You are a very worthy recipient and as you say ‘Water IS life’ and we do not do these things alone. As senior female members of our community we have an opportunity to make a change. We had the fight of our lives for our lives up here in the Northern Rivers regarding CSG mining. For me it was all about the WATER! I looked at my children and grandchildren and my community and said ‘not on my watch’ so much so I wrote a book ‘Mum, What’s Happening to our Water?’ a young girl’s story about how CSG mining affected her family and community. I would be happy to send you a PDF copy for FYI. Congratulations and my great-great-great grandchildren thank you!
A: Dear Wendy Bowman,
Congratulations and many thanks for being such strong defender of our land and water.
With admiration and best regards

A: Hello Ms. Bowman,
I felt compelled to write to you after viewing a short clip of you standing for your farm. I was very much so inspired by your video and wanted to personally tell you that what you are holding onto is the absolute purity of which life is. Your land that you and your family have sustained and cared for for so many years is absolutely beautiful and your love for the land, animals and environment is refreshing. It is very satisfying to hear of people like yourself not giving into such meaningless things such as money to destroy the true beauty of this planet and the things within it such as animals and agriculture. So I just wanted to say good for you and you have inspired me to always stand for what is right. If I ever find myself in your town I would love to drop by and personally thank you and see your beautiful piece of earth.
