The Golden Guitar-winning Bushwackers are 
Australia’s best-known, best-loved bush band and THEY'RE COMING TO MARRICKVILLE TO PLAY A GIG FOR LOCK THE GATE!
Their Bushdances in the late 70’s and 80’s had thousands of people doing the Heel and Toe and Strip the Willow and there’s scarcely a school kid who didn’t learn a bit of bushdancing to the music of The Bushwackers.
The Bushwackers are led by the mighty Lagerphone of Dobe Newton and he’s joined onstage with a great team of musicians wielding fiddles, accordions, mandolins, guitars, bass, and drums. It’s a magic combination that has seen the band perform at festivals in Tamworth, Port Fairy, Canberra, Mackay, Port Arlington, Dorrigo, Brisbane and many other places in the last 20 years.
Under 10 kids are FREE. Kids 10-16 yrs old are $5. Early bird tix $25/$20 concession. After 10 May and on the door $30/$25 conc.

Dinner available on the night c/- some guest stallholders from the The Street Food Markets - one of Sydney’s newest night markets, serving up authentic street food from around the world, and supporting refugee stallholders as they share with us their food and culture from home. Taste flavours from Iran, Ethiopia, Colombia, Sierra Leone and more, under the stars at the Addison Road Community Centre.
