Lock the Gate - Community Picnic

It’s all on the line this election – our food and water, our health, our thriving agricultural industries.

Imagine a Queensland where our government and MPs listens to the voices of Queensland communities over mining companies. A Queensland where long term protections are in place to ensure our water, food and air is free from pollution.

Come an join us for a community picnic to find out what Lock the Gate has planned in your area for this upcoming election and how you can get involved.

The mining billionaires have been drowning out the voices of ordinary Queenslanders for too long and they now risk the Great Artesian Basin, the Fraser Coast, the Darling Downs and the Outback Channel Country. Our government needs to listen to the voices of Queenslanders and stop allowing mining giants to undermine our democracy.

This will be a fun family friendly event with lots of delicious food, light entertainment and games to play. Feel free to bring along the whole family and a plate to share.
