Vast areas of the Limestone Coast are currently covered in approved exploration licences for unconventional gas, large open cut mines and coal mining.

Communities in the Limestone Coast have come together to declare themselves “Gasfield & Invasive Mining Free”.

By community vote, they have decided they will not allow industrial gasfields or invasive mining here.
