Often the main barrier people have to trying our volunteer activities such as stalls, flyering, making phone calls, is that they are not confident speaking to people about the issue. This is understandable as it can be daunting speaking even to people you know about something you're passionate about, and even more so when you need to talk to strangers about something complex like coal seam gas. 

This training will give you some tips and techniques for having effective, persuasive conversations about issues that are important to you. We will also cover some typical questions and barriers you may come up against when having these conversations. 

We will practice having conversations as well, so you can leave feeling confident in talking about this issue.
