This month’s guest speaker at Gecko House, on Wednesday, 23rd January is Michael McNamara from the Lock the Gate Alliance.

The night begins at 6.30pm with drinks and nibbles with the speaker commencing at 7pm.

Michael will speak about the coal seam gas industry and the Lock the Gate campaign, including a current blockade at Glenugie in the Clarence Valley, New South Wales.

Michael said, “I plan to talk about the campaign against CSG, including wins, and also focus on engaging and empowering communities through the Gasfield Free Communities initiative. I would love to explore with those attending how they can take action in their local communities.”
