As crunch time approaches for our own Wide Bay Burnett communities threatened by gasfield exploration, we have a unique opportunity to hear about the impacts of shale gas fracking across Australia and the USA from David Smith, a South Australian farmer and producer of the new film Pipe Dreams - Fractured Lives.
In the film you will hear the stories of everyday people, from the US and Australia, speaking out to give you an insight into the shale fracking industry, as well as the science from world experts.
After each of the film screenings there will be a Q&A with film maker David Smith.
